SUPERNOVA Youngest Inventor

SUPERNOVA youngest inventor

Video: N.B. girl discovers supernova
Supernova is a giant star that ran out of fuel and destroyed by the weight of its own gravity. This incident was discovered by a girl from canada 10 years old Aurora yan named Kathryn Gray of Fredericton is a rare occurrence was discovered when she was combing dozens of constellations in telescopic imaging in very distant galaxies.
These results penemuanya crowned this little girl into a young supernova inventor as announced by RSAC.
The following interviews Aurora Kathryn Gray of Fredericton

" I'm very excited. It feels really good, "Kathryn said in a telephone interview early Monday evening.

He was still on Christmas vacation, so no school yet know, except for one of his friends who came by for a date to play Monday.

"I'm not sure he knows what the supernova, but he thought it was pretty cool that I found one," says Kathryn, a fifth grade student who plans to continue to search for supernovae - but only as a hobby.

His father, Paul Gray, helped make the discovery by taking steps to get rid of asteroids and examining supernovae list of currently known.

Looking for supernovae require combing through dozens of old pictures and compare them star field to a new image. Special computer software that flashes helps viewers to identify new activities. The supernova appeared as a bright spot in the field of stars.

Paul Gray is an amateur astronomer and his daughter expressed an interest in the field last year. Kathryn learned that 14 years found a supernova, and was able to top that.

Kathryn's father gave her trial last November to use some old files. When he did it for real this week, he made the discovery after the fourth of 52 images on a computer screen.

The images captured by the telescope's Dave Lane, an amateur astronomer in Stillwater Lake, NS outside of Halifax, who emailed pictures to Paul Gray.

"Kathryn pointed to the screen and said:" Is this one "I said yup, that looks pretty good," said Paul Gray, described finding her daughter.

"It's fantastic that someone so young to be passionate about astronomy. What is remarkable discovery. We are all very excited," said Deborah Thompson, executive director of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada.

This new supernova 2010lt called Supernova.

Recent supernova in our galaxy occurred several hundred years ago.
